Hand wash in cold water or Machine wash in cold water. Only wash on wool cycle, using a gentle laundry liquid designed for wool products.
DRYING:
Air dry in a well-ventilated area that is directly out of sunlight. When your pad is dry, gentle brush loose dirt and hair off. This helps remove surface dirt and rejuvenate the wool and fibres, it helps reduce the number of times you need to wash your pad. It helps prolong the life of your pad. NEVER PUT IN THE DRYER (This will cause the shape to change, and it will shrink your pad, to the perfect size for a miniature pony :)
How Often Should I Wash My Pad:
A good rule of thumb is your saddle pad should be washed whenever they look dirty. Dirt, hair, and grime that can build up under a saddle pad can cause rubbing and can contribute to skin conditions if not removed regularly.
